If you are between the ages of 16 and 24, and you have any of the following barriers to employment:- Dropped out of high school
- Have a disability
- Homeless or ran away from home
- In foster care or aged out a system
- Pregnant or parenting
- Trouble with the law
- English is your second language
- Trouble reading or writing
What are the next steps?
The first step in the application process is to contact your local Youth Employment Counselor. They will guide you through the application process and determine eligibility. The application process typically takes 2-4 weeks and involves a series of meetings that cover:
Eligibility determination including gathering documents and assessment interviews
Making sure you are a fit for our program - we are looking for youth who are motivated and ready to take the next steps to improve their lives!
Discussion of career and educational goals.
